In July of 2015, The Chicago History Museum debuted a display in their newly opened Guild Gallery on the meaning of the city’s flag and a touch-screen interactive exhibit called The Fifth Star Challenge, designed by WEATHERHEAD. Participants can choose from 40 events and historical sites to try to add the next star to the Chicago flag. The vibrant, 12-foot long display includes a wall-to-wall map of Chicago with key details such as historical sites, notable citizens and significant events.

The History Museum is located at 1601 N. Clark St. Regular museum hours are Monday through Saturday, 9:30am to 4:30pm, and Sunday, noon to 5pm. For more information, call 312-642-4600 or visit their website.
